Thanks to ongoing digitization, the importance of digital media in personnel development is also increasing. But what actually makes good eLearning? As banal as this question may be, the answers in practice vary. On the more than 20 days of the eLearning SUMMIT Tour each year, this central question will be addressed by experienced project managers in various event formats and from different perspectives.

Program components
The eLearning SUMMIT Tour is a decentralized conference series with a practical, interactive and dialogue-oriented program.
Best practice reports
A core element of the eLearning SUMMIT Tour are the Best Practice lectures, in which the regional and international competencies of the German-speaking eLearning industry are made visible in 15 minutes. Every year, more than 100 speakers present practical solutions for typical challenges in the eLearning field, present new methods and technologies and report on both best and worst case experiences in the implementation of eLearning projects.
Speed Geeking (regional conferences)
In this format, the participants can expect a course of speed geeking panels distributed throughout the room, on which they distribute themselves. The small groups will be presented applicable solutions by the selected speakers in short presentations. At the end of a round, the participants are already expected by another topic partner at the next panel. The concept of speed geeking is based on speed dating due to the intimacy of dialogue and the rapid change of conversation partners. The strength of the procedure lies on the one hand in the compression of the lectures and the variety of topics.
Knowledge Café (Regional Conferences)
In the dialogue-oriented Knowledge Café, hosts invite you to 2 discussion rounds of 30 minutes each at a theme table. The discussion participants have the autonomy to structure the discussions themselves, since the open exchange of experience is superficial. For hosts of a theme table who have already given a Best Practice Report, this format offers the space to go into the lecture in more detail.
World Café (theme days)
In the result-oriented coffee house style World Café, a recording clerk invites the participants to 4 rounds of talks. The theme per table is set and represents a key aspect of the day’s theme. While the participants change tables after each round, the host remains behind and discusses the same topic again with the next group. At the end of the 4 rounds, the recording clerk presents the developed impulses for action to the plenum.
