On the one hand, the existence and facilitation of social media and digital resources has provided a very dynamic knowledge ecosystem. On the other hand, such conditions have created an overwhelmingly confusing information flood, both for teachers and students alike. A university professor is required to maintain a balance: to provide support and clarity about which things to pursue, and at the same time provide an ample room for students to conduct necessary experimentations. This necessitates a willingness to keep humility and eagerness to learn, unlearn, and relearn. My presentation will serve the community of teachers of higher education institutions so as to meet the needs of the new generation.
