Exchange of experience for eLearning professionals
Thanks to the ongoing digitisation, the importance of digital media is also increasing in human resources development. But what actually constitutes good eLearning? As trivial as this question may be, the answers vary in practice. On the 25 event days of the eLearning SUMMIT Tour every year, this central question is addressed by experienced project managers in various event formats and from various perspectives.

Conference days

Theme days
At the theme days, the exchange of knowledge is the focus and the joint gathering of experience, ideas and innovations around the respective day’s topic is in the foreground. Program blocks
The eLearning SUMMIT Tour is a decentralised conference series with a practical, interactive and dialogue-oriented programme.
Best practice reports
A core element of the eLearning SUMMIT Tour are the best practice presentations, in which the regional and international competences of the eLearning industry are made visible in 15 minutes. Every year, more than 100 speakers present practical solutions for typical challenges in the eLearning sector, present new methods and technologies and report on both best- and worst-case experiences in the implementation of eLearning projects.
Speed Geeking (Regional Conferences)
In this format, a parcours of Speed Geeking Panels distributed in the room awaits the participants, to which they are distributed. The small groups are presented with short presentations of applicable solutions by the selected speakers. At the end of a course, the participants are already expected by another topic partner at the next panel. The concept of speed geeking is based on speed dating and elevator pitches due to the intimacy of the dialogue and the rapid change of discussion partners. The strength of this format lies on the one hand in the intensive and short presentations of ideas and the variety of topics.
BarCamp Session (Regional Conferences)
In the dialogue-oriented BarCamp session, moderators invite you to 2 discussion rounds of 30 minutes each at a theme table. The discussion participants have the autonomy to structure the discussions themselves, since the open-ended exchange of experiences is superficial. For moderators of a topic table who have already given a Best Practice Report, this format offers the opportunity to go into the presentation in more detail.
World Café (Theme days)
In the result-oriented World Café in coffee house style, a moderator invites the participants to 4 discussion rounds. The topic per table is fixed and represents a key aspect of the day’s theme. While the moderator changes tables after each session, the participants stay behind and discuss a new topic with the next moderator. At the end of the 4 rounds, the results of the discussions are presented in a brief summary to the audience.
