eLearning BENCHMARKING Study 2018 Partial study: eLearning Provider - DACH vs. International

The forecast “E-Learning Market Size, Trends – Industry Forecast Report 2017-2024” by Global Market Insights suggests that the global eLearning market could grow to over 200 billion US dollars by 2024. Against this background, the eLearning BENCHMARKING Study 2018 conducted a survey among national and international eLearning service providers for the first time. This partial study compares the findings of the two target groups and provides initial insights into the similarities and differences between the German-speaking and international supplier markets. In addition, the partial study contains an evaluation of current trends in the industry from the provider’s perspective.

Chapter 1: eLearning providers – DACH vs. International
How do German-speaking and international eLearning providers differ? This is the central question in the first chapter of this partial study. In order to get to the bottom of this question, various key figures such as the number of employees, annual sales or experience in the eLearning market are compared.

Chapter 2: Digital transformation and eLearning trends
Digitisation is one of the mega trends that will profoundly change the German-speaking economy for years to come. But what significance does digital transformation actually have for in-company training and continuing education? And what trends will this lead to? The second chapter deals with the assessment and forecasts of the providers on these two topics and thus complements the results of the user study.
