Digital forms of learning are gaining importance in the Gulf region

elearning gulf regionToronto (Canada) | The Canadian market researcher Technavio assumes an average market growth of 10% for eLearning in the Gulf region. Company training is expected to account for 39 % of this growth. This is the result of the recently published analysis “E-Learning Market in GCC Countries 2020-2024”. For 2020 itself, the market researcher expects growth of 9.35 %. By the end of 2024, a market value of 492.66 million euros is expected to be achieved.

That eLearning is booming in countries such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar is nothing entirely new. Other market researchers, such as Research Nester and HTF Market Intelligence, had recently issued growth forecasts of 9.8 to 13.63 % annually, but had chosen a shorter forecast period until 2022 and 2023 respectively. The corona epidemic therefore does not seem to be clouding market growth.

Technavio sees skill-based training as a particular market driver in the Gulf region. The Indian market researcher HTF Market Intelligence also sees an important market trend in skill-based learning, but not only there, but also in the use of gamification.
