Toronto (Canada)/Pune (India) | In its current market study “Global Digital English Language Learning Market 2018-2022”, the Canadian market researcher Technavio predicts an annual growth rate of 22% for English learning via eLearning. In line with this, Technavio assumes that market sales will gradually increase to a total value of around 12 billion US dollars by the end of 2022. According to Technavio, almost half of the predicted growth (49%) will come from the APAC region. According to Technavio’s forecasts, the EMEA region and the American market should also contribute significantly to market growth.
The Indian market researcher The Insight Partners comes to a less positive view of the current market growth. In his analysis of the Digital English Language Learning Market, he predicts annual market growth of 15.2% over the forecast period 2018 to 2027. As far as market value is concerned, The Insight Partners estimates that an annual market value of around 11.4 billion US dollars will not be achieved until 2027.
This overview has shown that the market for learning English via eLearning is likely to grow very dynamically in the coming years.
