Pune (India)/Dublin | In its latest analysis “Digital English Language Learning Market”, Indian market researcher The Insight Partners expects an annual growth rate of 15,2% for english learning via eLearning. At the end of 2018, the market had accounted for around 3247.4 million US dollars and is expected to grow to an annual market value of 11,445.6 million US dollars by the end of the forecast period 2027.
According to The Insight Partners, the reason for this growth is the increased integration of digital forms of learning to teach English in schools, universities and companies. From the world’s point of view, the Asia-Pacific region is likely to have the highest percentage growth rate, the market researcher predicts. China and India in particular are important and large markets. However, the market is also growing significantly in other regions – for example, in the MEA region by 15.8% and in North America by 9.2%.
If you compare this market study with others, a more comprehensive view becomes possible. For example, The Irish market researcher Research and Markets recently predicted an annual growth rate of 7% for cloud-based language training and expects this to reach a market value of around 8 billion US dollars by the end of 2024. At first glance, this could mean that digital language training in the field of English will bring more than twice as much growth momentum.
