Toronto (Canada) AI-based platforms are becoming increasingly popular. In his new analysis “Artifical Intelligence Platforms Market by Deployment and Geography – Global Forecast and Analysis 2019-2023”, the Canadian market researcher Technavio expects annual growth of 28 %. If this assessment is correct, the market would also grow by a total of approximately 6.95 billion US dollars over the forecast period, based on data collected by Technavio. Technavio itself expects growth of 24.10 % in 2019.
Technavio predicts that 71 % of growth in the coming years will come from North America. According to the market researcher, local growth will be driven by industry giants such as Microsoft, IBM and Google. North America also currently holds the largest market share of AI platforms.
According to Technavio, the reasons for this growth can be found in the increased integration of AI platforms in companies that want to improve their IT systems and support their workforce in a more targeted learning process. But the increased government support is also relevant. In November 2018, for example, Germany launched the digital strategy “AI Made in Germany” in order to boost economic growth, which Technavio believes will also have a positive effect on AI learning platforms.
