Global eLearning market still on the upswing

Dublin | Many market researchers believe that the global eLearning market has bright prospects for growth. In its analysis “Global E-Learning Market Analysis 2019” published in March 2019, the Irish market researcher Research and Markets predicts average annual growth of 9.1% between 2018 and 2026. According to the prognostic calculations of Research and Markets, a global market volume of 336.98 billion dollars should be reached in 2026. With the newly published forecast, the market research institute is making a thorough upward adjustment to its own figures. Most recently, the company had assumed average annual growth of 7.2 %. It remains to be seen whether other market researchers will also assume more positive prospects than before or whether they will assume comparatively more moderate growth prospects. The latest forecasts by Global Market Insights and Research for Markets predict growth of between 7 and 7.5 %. Global Market Insights assumes, based on the latest study, that the global eLearning market will probably comprise more than 300 billion dollars in 2025.

Reasons for this growth, the various market research institutes believe, can be found, for example, in the continuing increase in the number of Internet users worldwide, but also in innovative trends in the teaching of learning content such as gamification or mobile learning, which are, however, reflected to varying degrees in different regions.
