Jena (Germany) | As the ESET Deutschland GmbH determined 22% of the companies being asked in their survey in 2020 answered that home office isn´t a alternative for office work. By asking 522 enterprises of diverse businesses and sizes in Germany they figured out, that more than a fifth of them isn´t able to provide home office due to company reasons. Whilst in the study there is no distinction in the various reasons for that, the causes could separate in the lack of technical/software equipment, of willingless on the part of the companie or just the fact that their business requires direct customer contact permanently. As a further aspect the study revealed that 17% oft he companies enable 70% of their employees to work at home.
