Global eLearning market soon to be worth 400 billion US Dollars?

market growthPune (India) | The Indian market researcher Wise Guy Reports, has recently published a market study entitled “E-Learning – Global Market Outlook (2017-2026)”, which assumes that the global eLearning market will have an annual turnover of 398.15 billion US Dollar by the end of 2026. For 2017, the market researcher is still assuming annual sales of 176.12 billion US Dollars and assumes annual growth of 9.5% per year during the analysis and forecast period.

Responsible for the growth of eLearning are the core characteristics of digital learning such as learning flexibility, low training costs, increased learning effectiveness through new modern forms of learning and the increasing number of Internet and smartphone users worldwide. With this, Wise Guy Reports dares to make a growth forecast that is higher than anything we have seen before. For example, the Irish analyst Research and Markets recently predicted a market value of 319.16 billion for 2025, while the US market researcher Global Market Insights, for example, also expects annual sales of around 300 billion US Dollars in 2025.

Whether the eLearning market will grow, and if so, in what dynamic, is probably also connected with how the economic effects of the corona virus will be felt. While individual eLearning segments such as virtual classrooms or other collaboration software appear to be booming, other areas are experiencing difficulties and are likely to experience budget cuts.
