Cape Town/Dublin |The South African eLearning market has enjoyed a double-digit growth rate in recent years. This is pointed out by the Irish market researcher Research and Markets in last year’s updated market study „South Africa E-Learning Market Outlook to 2023“, which refers to the forecast period 2013 to 2023. A slowdown in market dynamics is not to be feared, because despite existing problems such as poor Internet coverage and a lack of skilled workers with digital skills, the e-learning market has continued to develop positively, which is why Research and Market assumes an average growth rate of 13 % per year until 2023. According to Research and Markets, the South African market is in the early stages of development and is still far from reaching its peak. The largest market segment in South Africa is the content segment. The most important market driver is currently schools, which are increasingly turning to e-learning for their teaching. But companies and consumers are also contributing to market growth according to Research and Markets.
