Hagen im Bremischen (Germany) | Recently, Cornerstone announced the acquisition of Saba Software for 1.395 billion US Dollars. The acquisition combines two of the largest companies in the corporate learning, talent management and recruiting industry to create one of the world’s leading providers of people development systems. Given their combined size and reach, additional investment in research and development, and improved cash flow, Cornerstone believes this acquisition will strengthen its competitive position for the long term. Cornerstone’s recent successes were led by Adam Miller, and Saba, one of its main competitors at the time, has now joined the ranks. Users can therefore look forward to increased expertise from Cornerstone in the future. Other developments related to the acquisition, such as the question of the future cost structure, are not foreseeable at this time.
