Nashville (Tennessee)/London | The recent acquisition of Watershed Learning Analytics by the UK-based Learning Technologies Group (LTG) expands the Group’s product portfolio in the area of learning module efficiency analysis for business success. Previously, LTG had held a minority stake since 2016 and has now acquired the remaining 73 percent of Watershed Learning Analytics. Watershed, in collaboration with clients such as Visa and Verizon, has made a name for itself in corporate learning analytics across all industries and uses a customizable learning analytics platform to process learner data in order to make statements about the effectiveness of learning modules for corporate success. This will allow companies to make more informed decisions about which learning initiatives make sense and which should be expanded. The expertise and software functions developed by Watershed are to be integrated into other LTG products in the future. A cooperation with LEO Learning, gomo, Affirmity and other divisions of the company group is aimed at. LTG hopes to gain further market shares with these cooperations. LTG and Watershed have already worked together in part before. 2017 with a joint company survey to measure efficiency in in-company training.

We will continue to provide customers with the best solution to their challenges and offer LTG software only where it is the best option for the existing problem,” said Tim Martin, co-founder of Watershed on the planned future direction. He will lead LTG Watershed as Chief Innovation and Product Officer and replaces CEO Mike Rustici, who is retiring for health reasons.
